Hello,

Please help me ID the critter in the attached video. The rock with zoas you can see has been in the tank for a few months, and just this past weekend I noticed a set of pinkish tentacles reaching out from underneath the zoa rock. The tentacles at this point are about 1/2 inch long, and I havent pulled up the rock to see what is underneath.

Thoughts?

To get rid of it before it multiplies, get a syringe and use either lemon juice or better. . . kalkwasser mixed into a past like substance and inject into core(center) of the anemone/aptasia and it will shrink down then on its' way to death.

I agree but the possibility of alien has not been ruled out. I would send a pic to area 51 or a positive ID

Get the right Peppermint shrimp in the tank and he will be the security guard for Aptasia - mine is!
