Another question sorry….
got frogspawn from LFS guy tried cutting plug from disc but all plug and disc came off….. first time reefing and this is my first lot of corrals …. He said it’ll be fine just to stick it in a hole and putty it in place……. I had to put small amount of putty up the hard part of coral to get it to stay because of missing plug….. will the coral grow around the putty/ small rocks to hide putty in time ?
Cheers

Frog won’t really cover the putty, they don’t encrust. As it gets larger it will be harder to see though. Also, algae will grow on the putty.
I do suggest cyanoacrylate glue (Krazy glue) over putty though, as putty is kinda weak and a pain.

Best best to cover with some rocks then? Thanks for responding

Thanks for all the reply’s very helpful….. after that hammer dip I did which killed some of them brittle stars…. Just had a look with torch as it’s 11pm here and you can still see some legs hanging out of the coral…. Shall I leave if they are beneficial or would anyone advise a re-dip….
