They good or bad?Mini brittle star
No, they are not eating the coral. They are harmless, if beneficial detritivores, they help keep your tank clean. With them been in the base of the coral can I assume that they are eating it?
Yeah, i try to check frags for them before i dip and I drop them in the tank.Ah k , Well think the coral dips killed them all
Had some very small holes on coral base…. They only came out when I dipped, never say they till then…Yeah, i try to check frags for them before i dip and I drop them in the tank.

Best best to cover with some rocks then? Thanks for respondingFrog won’t really cover the putty, they don’t encrust. As it gets larger it will be harder to see though. Also, algae will grow on the putty.
I do suggest cyanoacrylate glue (Krazy glue) over putty though, as putty is kinda weak and a pain.
And they will multiply!Micro brittle stars are harmless. They play cleanup.
If you have some small rubble pieces you can put them in front of the glue.Best best to cover with some rocks then? Thanks for responding
