There are different wild anemones you might have if you have real LR but more than likely that’s the pest type of Aiptasia… Glass Aiptasia. If you have real Gulf LR you might have an anemone that’s not invasive….First one I have seen and I observe my tank closely each day. It is also very small, about the size of a pea.
Take a screw driver and hammer and chip the rock below it so it comes off with a piece of rock and you’re done.Here’s the perp now lol

I will be diligently watching for other pesky invaders! Hoping I was lucky enough to catch it before it grabs a holdJust keep an eye out for others, I have only had one in my aquriam that came on a new frag (I cut it off completely without damaging Aiptasia), hopefully this is only one you have
I'm unsure.... would it die if you left rock out for a few weeks??
If you’re aren’t putting the rock back in right away give it a peroxide bath…I actually think the flow dynamics are better in my tank without that obstruction running through the front, so I think I’ll just keep it out.
