Does anyone know what this coral is called? I’d like to do research on caring for it. It seems to be maintaining but I feel like it could do better if I knew how to handle it. Thanks for your help.

I can’t say that it’s thriving but I wouldn’t say dying either. It’s just not happy. I’m trying to fix that. I posted better pics tonight.If it is indeed a mushroom (doubtful), it's not long for this world, either.
I’m sticking to this vote, assuming that’s the coral shrunken down.I’m going to vote it’s a Sinularia polydactyla. A better photo will help but it really reminds me of this species of Sinularia.
Yes he is shrunk down because I had to move him closer to the glass for better picture. He normally extends up almost like a tree.I’m sticking to this vote, assuming that’s the coral shrunken down.
