Help identifying my latest mystery

So happened to notice this thing that seems to be growing between some rocks in a shaded area. It’s like a tube looking thing and then there are what almost looks like cob webs in that same area. My first guess is that it’s a sponge but seems rather large. Probably about the thickness of a pencil or maybe a little larger.
Any thoughts?

possibly the vent tube of a tunicate, they're harmless filter feeders.

Does it move with light or touch? I think its a peanut worm proboscis
