Can you post a pic of your acros when they were under halides? It would be interesting to compare.
A few from my old 120.

Here is a better direct comparison.
Nano led cube and 120 halide.

One of the big things I see when adding halides into the light mix is that acros develop richer natural colors. For example, lighter greens turn more forest green.

Without the halides, the corals are a little more translucent and pastel.

Here’s a couple examples from my tank:

Thats really interesting. What does the Halide do for zoanthid colors? Does it wash them out?

According to the website the meridian 24 willl fully cover a tank 24x36 with the default lenses

If you ever needed more coverage down the line when your tank is a fully packed with sps colonies branching everywhere (I have faith in you!) then you could always add the matching edge bars and angle them however you need.
You can switch to the encompass lens as well from Reefbreeders. There’s 3 options for lenses on the meridians. Narrow, balanced, and encompass. Stock lenses are balanced spread.

Here are some PAR readings I took with a Vabira PAR meter on a few meridians. The 24 has the Reefer 14K edge bars, while the 11 is standalone, but I tested them on small tanks so it doesn’t paint the full picture. Still, it gives you a good sense of what to expect from them.

I’m going to throw 2 Meridian 11’s and 2-24” edge bars onto a 36” wide tank and do a par test on those next month.

Ap9x and a orphek UV pop bar or two is my first thought. Could also be done with a single a500x but more shadowing, but also more peak par.
