I’ve been working on pulling together a Reefer 250 for a while. I’m finally getting to the aqua scape, which I’m finding to be a lot more overwhelming than I had expected!

This tank sits in my home office, where I spend a lot of time. It’s at the base of the stairway into our basement and will be viewed mostly at a 45 degree angle from left to right front. When people walk by the office, it will be viewable at the opposite 45 degree angle (right to front) and guests will see it head on.

I intend this to be a mixed SPS and softies tank. Below is my best try at aquascaping so far. I have more pukani and Marco rock available as well.

I’d love thoughts and feedback from this community!

I really like it. You might pull the right side in a little bit to prevent a dead spot in that area. I really like the separate island look, and you should have plenty of surface area for corals.

I like it! Just like Auquanut stated you will definitely have plenty of surface area for corals! Especially the design when people come in from right to front it’s going to have that wow effect like look at that island w the corals!! Just make sure (and it looks like you did) you have plenty of room to clean the glass near the scape! Love the pukani as well! That’s all I have in my 625! Keep us posted on your progress!!
