Hi all,
recently added some SPS to my tank. For the last week or so some of them have been turning white where it meets the frag (where it started encrusting on the frag)....see pics below!
I have a biocube32, been set up for about 3 months. I have Steve’s LEDs that have been running on about 70% blue and 40% white.
following parameters last night (before a 5 gallon weekly water change):
Temp:76.8
nitrate 5ppm
Phosphate: 0.15ppm
Dkh: consistently 7.0
Ca: 430
Mg: 1350
I thought that the white signifies growth, but I think I’m wrong here and they are dying.
please let me know what you think/ what i should do/ if this has happened to you!!!
