I am getting ready to set up my 25 g lagoon AIO. I have about 100 lbs of tonga, plates, branches, and just normal dry rock. I also have 25 lbs of LifeRock. none of it is "alive", It is all dried and all must be cycled. I'd like to break all of this up into pieces to sculpture and build my scape out with it. But I the value in good live rock is not lost on me. Id also like those advantages...

Would I see the benefits of live rock by using my dry rock sculpture with good live sand from a place like KPaquatics, TB, Gulf Live Rock? This is my preference, but I am open to ideas. Like I said, I want to get this right the first time.

Live sand and as long as you are buying live sand from them, get a couple pieces of live rock
