It was encrusting onto my rocks… and as some may remember I was battling a day of 92* temp 3 weeks ago. Everything except my SPS survived, and the hydno looked like it was doing well. Polyps extending, etc. a week ago, it started slowly melting and has been getting worse. I did a 10 gal water change a few days ago on a 32 bio cube. Still no help.
What’s wrong?

What is your phosphate level over the last few weeks? Is the hydnophora (SPS) new since the heat-spike? Any recent lighting changes such as lights, color spectrum, duration, or intensity? Did you move any wave-makers so that one is now pointed directly at the hydno?
