Did you acclimate them as if you just purchased them from a store?
Also, did you introduce them under low light or acclimation mode ?

Moving aquariums has a very specific order of ops to minimize loss

agreed to light ramping as first go

also, did you move over the same sand, just picked it up and scooped it into the new tank? We want to be able to track tank transfers that worked, and didn’t work thanks for the input it helps develop safe xfer methods

a sand event harms the whole tank, sand wasn’t likely cause in my opinion

the no pox, quick lowering nitrate and high lighting sure is

It’s best to stop no pox a while and lower lighting, while increasing high quality coral feeding and water changing. Make activity vs passive the regeneration method and even some bleached ones can come back possibly.

Actually the old one was barebottom and the sand in the new one also new and cured for 14 days, same light (maxspect celestial)

Was the 30g a new tank? Or a already established tank? Even if established, I would have acclimated them as if they were new as mentioned.

Am on it now, feeding brightwell amino acides and phytochrome with zooplankton

Negligible phosphate and high alkalinity is a precarious thing.

Adding in a whole bunch of virgin aragonite sand (which will absorb Phosphate) and dosing NoPox is pretty much a recipe for bottoming out Phosphate - and with high alkalinity t- that's really rough on corals.

As i mentioned they were in my pico nothin new and the moving to the new tank is in the same room
My old and new tank were 3 feet apart and had different alk, ph, salinity and temperature readings.
It does make a difference and I acclimated until the water was a near match before moving fish and coral into new tank under low light for 4 days then I slowly ramped up the intensity
