So I bought Sea Lettuce, Red Ogo, & Cheato from Algae Barn to put in my sump. The problem is I didn’t respect the Sea Lettuces ability to sprea, so now my rocks are covered in Sea Lettuce. I have 3 tangs, a few hermits, big urchin, and snails, and currently dose Vibrant 2x/week. I also already have some corals so lights out is not a great option. I’m slowly seeing progress but advice would be appreciate.

I wish I had your problem. My sea lettuce has been struggling to survive now for several months. What kind of light do you have?
I have 2 kessil AP9X because they’re in the DT. But I was growing with a kessil H160 Tuna Flora in the sump

I have a budget kzkr 36" white/blue led light with 8K color spectrum (I added the link below) and an led magenta light strip on top of the tank. I don't have a par meter and the light I have doesn't have par settings but I am getting 1100 lux at the depth where the plants are located. The Gracilaria Hayi I bought from you is doing well. The sea lettuce just hasn't done well.

Its possible that you do not have enough nutrients for both but usually the sea lettuce would be out competing the other macroalgae

What all do you feed your fish in a day? Maybe you're feeding your Tangs too much so that they are not grazing on your sea lettuce.
