I’m planning to add a barrel tender to my system.

I have two 50 gallon containers, one for saltwater and one of top-off.

Would I need 2 barrel tenders here and then would I just add a solenoid valve to the feed line, to switch from filling one barrel to the other?

Any guidance would be appreciated.

You would really only want the Tender on your top off barrel. Since it will automatically refill the container it is not typically used for salt water. You can simply add a tee off the main rodi line and use a combination of a manual valve and float valve on the saltwater bucket, this way the top off supply will be automated by the tender and you can just flip the valve open to fill your salt water container and it will shut off when full.
