do i still feed al my corals and inverts?
You can feed them yes. No problem

I would use the copper power, it tends to be a little less harsh on certain fish.

Did you get a copper test kit?

If your QT temp and salinity match DT, no. If you are lowering the salinity slightly no.

I picked up test kit by Seachem,

10g tank
Hob filter
Thermostat
Thermometer
Cupramine
Test kit
Pvc pipe adapter

Now what do i put in the filter!?

Do i add cupramine after i aff the fish to the qt?? Or before adding fIsh?

I will be using my water from DT.

I think imma chose cupramine bcuz my test kit is by seachem too.

Good call, the seachem kit only works with ionic copper (cupramine). It does not read high enough to monitor the therapuetic level of chelated copper (copper power).

No carbon in filter. You want to use some seeded media from your DT to control ammonia.

Fish first then start dosing copper. Your total is 38 drops or so for 10 gallons.

I personally would break that up into at least 5 doses. So around 8 drops in am 8 drops in pm. Or 5-6 drops 3 times a day until you reach the total of 38

So the egg crate holes are too big,

The clowns are swimming right thru it,

The black ones are ready to tear the gold nuggets up.

What can i do? How can i divide these?

For now i put nuggets back in dt,

As i have not dosed copper yet

Bought the tank divider from petco for $12.50

It is very flimsy, i used come suctions cups to prop it ,

Added 20 drops of cupramine today, fish went crazy for the first 30 seconds,

I just left home, so hopefully everyone wkll be fine when i get home tonight.

Whats the next step?

How often do i change water?

How often do i dose cupramine,?

I think cupramine is a 48 hour process.

But i would test the water when you get home. See how much 20 drops raised your copper levels.

48 hours after your first dose dose again.

You want to achieve .5mg/l. Where the test kit helps.

Water changes are going to be based on your nitrogen cycle and how well cycled your qt media is.

You want to watch ammonia closely. When toxic change water. An ammonia badge will make this easier than a test kit. But either is suitable.

Each wc will have to be dosed to therapeutic levels. 4 drops per gallon.

I agree with @Gareth elliott

Something else to make sure of. When you are doing a WC, it is very important the water you are adding back is re-dosed with cupramine prior to putting it in the tank (Re-dosed at the therapeutic level.
If you drop below the therapeutic level at any time, the 30 day clock resets back to day 1

And the water that i am dosing, what copper level does that have to be at?

After you reach .5ppm you don't have to dose copper anymore. It doesn't evaporate. You should be at .25ppm now, so test is where you should be. Copper doesn't evaporate. You only have to re-dose copper during a WC.
Make sure when you do a WC, the copper is already mixed before you add it to the tank. You don't want to expose the fish below the theraputic level at any time, as that would reset the 30 day clock.
