I have noticed the last few days that my palys have some sort of legions on them now moving to my polyps. At first I thought it was just fish food that it had caught but that dosent seem to be the case. Now it is starting to close... its definately an unhappy guy. Any help identifying it and treatment would be awesome...

Have you noticed anything like brown strings around them? Sometimes need to look close. Also, check the stalks. Anything white and fuzzy on them? Hard to tell from the pics exactly what it is but trying to see if you have the common suspects.

If they’re moving, dip in peroxide or iodine for any possible pests

+1 on peroxide dip...
The procedure is simple, add RO/DI water & Hydrogen Peroxide in a container then drop your frag/coral in the dip for a few minutes then rinse with RO/Di water then place the frag/coral in DT. The only thing that concerns me is there's not a solid measurement to abide by. 1:1 ratio

Take considerable care when handling these. The odds are they don't have a high level of palytoxin. But if they do you can get really sick. Emergency room kinda sick. Gloves, eye protection, and your trusty mask?

My LFS just had their 4th episode with it. Same story each time: breaking down a paly loaded customer tank.
