So a friend of mine was getting rid of his tank of 6 years so I took it and when I set it up at my house about a month later they just started and it's been about 2 weeks and they are spreading like rabbits
So I asked him he said he got them from Lfs 6 years ago and he never had any problem
No way they could get in but idk?

I disagree with the tube worm ID. They look to be colonial hydroids. The way to tell is touch the tubes. Hydroids will flex, tube worms will be brittle and crack. The anemones could be majanos, too many tentacles to be aiptasia.

Harmless. I’ve had them for many years and zero problems. Odds are they’ll die off but if they don’t, dont worry about them.
