hello all

any help identifying this disease on this fish would be appreciated.

I purchased 6 lyretail anthias last week. All we’re doing well. Yesterday one developed these plaques and was dead today. Later today another had these plaques (see pic). Also noted a long, stringy white stool that will not fall off today’s sick fish.

They are in a quarantine tank with cupramine and they got a 60 minute paraguard bath when I brought them home

@Humblefish

Looks like an infection to me. Kanaplex metroplex and furan 2 for 10-14 days would help with that, but white stringy poop suggests you should feed General cure and “focus” (to bind the meds to the food) for the same duration to handle the internal parasites (white stringy poo).

Any redness or sores?
