I have a 13.5 EVO and put 2-21” grows and a 12” glow. Built a DIY mount to angle the 2 grows and place 12” glow in the middle. Light moves up and down vertically and currently about 5-6” above water level.
I just got par meter and would like advice on par measurements I need to achieve. Examples of what would be considered too much basically for a mixed reef?
Currently have:
2- montipora digitata
2- stylophora
Grinch porites
Favite
2- chalices
Kenya tree
Burning banana Stylocoeniella
Fireworks polyps
Some Zoas

Will be adding more, but want to mostly accommodate softies and lps.

I know it’s overkill for this tank and Par measurements can be off the charts at 100%, so I will need to dial it down. I did this because I’m able to minimize the shadows and will be able to run lights at lower level which will dramatically reduce the heat as well.

Those PAR numbers are good for an SPS tank. If you want more of a mixed reef, have the top of the rocks closer to 275-325 or so

So need to get it a little lower? Will that still be good for the monti digi’s? Is this too much for stylophora’s? They seem to be doing well, but the montis and favite are what don’t seem to be really thriving at the moment.

At 100% I’m getting close to a thousand at top of rock and 550 on sandbed in case someone is wondering what the blades are capable of
