Issue. The cupramin which was supposed to arrive tomorrow is arriving Thursday and my fish are getting more dots. It’s worst and now the firefish has it to. They are still eating, but when should I add them to the qt, and should I do a freshwater dip?

Freshwater dip could help some, then into the QT. Moving them to the QT can help too because it gets them out of the ich infested water they are in now. Be sure to use freshly mixed water, not water from your display tank.
How will you be measuring Cu levels once you start dosing?

I’m going to go based on drops, because I can’t receive a copper test in time.

OK, just be very careful. Err on the low side. Overdosing will be worse than the ich.
Also, if you have an ammonia spike DO NOT use Prime or any other ammonia detox product along with the Cu.

Would a temp of 77 be fine for a qt treatment? I only had a spare preset thermometer. Of course I’d have to temp acclimate the fish.

Caught the firefish and two clowns without taking apart any of my rock. What a blessing. I’m floating them right now and running a few last minute tests. Will add them soon.
copper should arrive today otherwise tomorrow. The parasite was at the stage fallen off the fish so they where doing much better.
