Help with Id Please.. want to place in right spot

Good morning .
A friend recently gave me this frag a while back but it for sure what variety it is . Frag has struggled . I have moved it a couple times to different light and flow areas and it seems to struggle . Is it encrusting montipora???
Just like my business in landscape design . Knowing your plants and where to place is critical as to health .
