I was blasting my rocks today and I noticed 2 new (but not purchased) things in the tank I really hope these guys are safe. One I’m thinking is a feather duster? The other one has me worrying what the heck is that! Pics and video thanks in advance for any help or answers.

First pic looks more like a nem than a feather duster imo. 2nd pic is ball nem I think. 1st pic is resembles aptasia but seems to be more tentacles than normal.

Second picture is definetly a Ball Anemone, it is harmless and I actually enjoy mine because they glow under blue lights. My preference aside I have quite a few Ball Anemones in my tank and I know very well what they look like so I am quite sure what you got there is a Ball Anemone. They are not actually anemones but mushroom corals, they are easy to feed and I feed the biggest one in my tank with mysis shrimp. Try checking out yours in blue lights, mine have a dashed ring of green around their mouths.

Thank you I’ll keep my eyes on this little guy, it’s not around any other coral so I’ll see what comes of it. I’m Happy it’s for the most part harmless just don’t start messing with other coral. Haha
