Ive had this fish for over 8 months.. Ate like a little pig, very lively... plays etc.. he is absolutely beautiful..
Past 2 days he has been acting different, doesnt eat, although goes through the motions and acts like he is going to eat but doesnt.. when he swims, the best way to put it is he looks like he is paralized from the waist down.. back end does not move much and his tsil fin does not open. He lays around. Right now he looks like he is going to die.. please help.

It is possible he is sick or injured. There might not be much you can do if there is no sign of infection.

He is still alive. But on his side now. He is one of my favorites, great personality.. I wish I could do something.. his flesh color is changing . Could that be s sign of infection? For some resson I cant post pics. Man this is killing me. :(

I'm sorry to say once that get to that swimming like they're paralyzed stage there's most likely nothing you can do. You could always try an antibiotic if you have a hospital tank and think you can catch him but its usually too late at this point and they don't last long. Im sorry :(

Sorry to hear about the loss of your fish. It always stinks to lose an aquatic friend. It is amazing how attached to these creatures we get.

You have my deepest condolences.
