I’m not sure what CH is. The fish is in a qt tank with a daily water change. Salinity is 1.024 temp is 77f. The white blotches seem to come and go. More defined in the morning. Sorry I’m a newby and just trying to learn as I go.
Sorry, that was a typo = ich.

The spots coming and going also is a sign of ich in fish.

Do you have a treatment tank that you can use to treat it with either coppersafe or hyposalinity?

It doesn’t look like ich. How would I treat for Cryptocaryon? He’s eating just fine. Seems a bit skittish but he’s been that way since I’ve had him. Likes to hide a lot. 48 breaths per min it’s tough to count. PH is 7.0. Alk is 120. Nitrite is 0 nitrate is 15

He is in a QT now. He’s been in there for a couple days. I added prazipro because it looked like flukes came off when I gave home a fresh water dip on his way into the qt tank. Now after a couple days he has these blotches.

Then, I would start a coppersafe treatment today, get to a full 2.5 ppm dose within 24 hours.

I will do that with a full water change when I get done work. Thank you Jay Hemdal for all your help

You don't need to do a 100% water change - 30% would be fine unless there is a huge ammonia issue or some other thing you need to manage.

I wanted to do a full water change because there was prazipro already in the water. A full change is only 10 gallons in my QT tank so it’s no big deal. He’s back in with a full dose of coppersafe so I got my fingers crossed.
