Help with propagation of my bounce mushroom

I have fragged many things but shrooms are not one. I have this WWC bounce and im curious, what is the best and safest way to frag it? Not many videos out on how to frag a bounce. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Here is a picture for reference.

I plan to use this technique when I propagate mine. They aren't bounces though...

As always, I'll be this guy. A "bounce" is simply a Rhodactis mushroom, with highly inflated pseudo tentacles. Fragging is exactly the same as other mushrooms and Rhodactis, they can be easily cut in half with a nice razor blade or ceramic knife which is what I've transitioned over to with anemones and mushrooms. I'd use that technique.

That is kinda what i have been considering, however very nervous about it.

I have a jawbreaker and I cut it down the middle of it mouth and it is thriving. Mushrooms are hard to kill just make sure you line up the mouth and make a clean cut down the middle of the mouth.

Healing takes a little while but shouldn’t be a long time it all depends. The shrooms occasionally pop out babies so yes.

I have heard that sometimes they survive fine without a cut on the mouth but I recommend getting a piece of the mouth for sure especially on an expensive shroom.

how long do they take to become round again?

lets say if you take a quarter sized shroom, cut it in 4 even pieces,

how long will it take till they are 4 round baby shrooms

They'll pull themselves into C shapes and start to seal it off pretty quickly. It's going to be different in every system but around a week- several weeks.

Since a "Bounce" is just a shallow water Rhodactis sp. and just about any of them can form inflated vesicles, if you were to blend it there's a high chance of it developing them again once they've grown back.

I've yet to cut any of mine through the surface of the mushroom. I've cut the foot a few times on my jawbreaker. I usually wait for it to start stretching out before I do so.

Why not just do it with the plug? Or rock

You could I suppose, but it's much easier to just use a razor cutting soft tissue than it is to cut the rock and soft tissue with another tool.
