I got some new hermit crab shells for my aquarium tonight. I saw a few hitch hikers and grabbed as many out as I could to make sure to ID them before letting them free in the tank. What are these micro shrimp looking things and is this a bristle worm????

Pods yes. Good, free food for the fish, and they eat detritus.

That does not look like a bristle worm to me at all. If you look closely, the end that is underneath the main body at the top in the picture looks like some sort of predatory worm to me. I'd ditch it if you haven't already
