Kryptonite getting big! I took it out of the mushroom box it was in for 6 months. No babies laid in there.. hoping for better luck with it in more flow and room to frolic.

I also did a questionable decision a few days ago and popped my non encrusted acros that stopped growing off the rock, glued to a new frag plug with a stem, and put them on my frag rack in higher light and flow. My WWC acros are doing great up there and encrusting so fast, I figured it was worth a shot. Already seeing better pe from a few of them. A few of them need a wider diameter plug, like my RR the Vinh, going to order those sometime soon.

It looks good !

Enjoying water changes ? ;Wideyed
Lol yea! The room that tank is in also is where the clean out for our plumbing is. So I use it as a floor drain which is nice. It is also easy to add water to that system since I don’t have a sump full of chaeto to disturb in there. I just fire up the return and pour 5gal jugs as fast as I can. The whole 15 gallon water change with spot siphoning only takes me 3-5 mins. Super easy.

You guys and your bare bottoms. Ok, they are growing on me.
They really are great for a working tank. A true display still would have sand in my mind. Mainly so non hobbyist guests don’t always immediately ask, why don’t you have sand ?!

I love my bare bottom. Both of them.
Oh, crap, I forgot I was at work.

Thanks man! I got it forever ago with the pure intention of it being a money maker and selling babies to fund reefing stuff. So far zero babies. Lol.

Thanks man! Yea, the initial grow phase is a little awkward lol. Once the coralline fills in things should look more natural.
