Hi Everyone!

We're not slacking, lol! Got some work done with the new place and snapped some shots!

The place is almost complete!

Also, just got news that our shipment of corals will be coming in soon, and will be FULL of goodies guaranteed!

Here are some pix from the past week ---

We got our water from Andy (Ocean in Motion). He supplies a lot of LFS and wholesalers in socal with scripps water. If you're ever needing a ton of salt water at once, and can not make a million trips to scripps, he's the guy to call. PM me if you need his info.

Looks awesome Will. How exciting it must be for you to be able to expand your business. What is the total water volume you'll have?

Best of luck to you and Alice.

And can't wait to see your new shipment:)

Thanks everyone :) Appreciate the posts!

That looks awesome! Do you like your T5 lighting? Are all corals under T5's and what bulbs do you use?

Only the first bin has T5's over the tanks. The rest are Aqua Medic sexy series, with 3 x 250w + 2 x 150w DE halides. The frag tank is also lit by Aqua Medic lighting, with 2 x 250w + 1 x 150w :)

We use Phoenix 14ks for the 250w, and a mix of Phoenix 14k and Ushio 20k for the 150w.

Thanks!

We'll be stocking mostly common fish for right now. We can bring in shipments of fish from overseas, but our current system will not be able to hold them. Our main focus will still be corals, but what is a fish store without fish right? haha :)

If you have special requests for fish, let me know. Thanks!

That looks GREAT!

I have to ask though, being in S California, did you consider using the solar tubes for lighting? To me it seems easy, easier in fact then buying and paying for all those halides/T5's on a monthly basis.

I am sure there is a down side, but with the cost of energy out there, and the amount of sun you get, it is hard to ignore that option, right?
