Just wasn't sure because it's posted with a bunch of coral...it is beautiful as well as the rock it's on...only ~$15 tooLooks like some kind of feather duster to me - a pretty one too.
Looks like a coco worm (Protula bispiralis):...still would like to know if anyone has seen a feather duster quite like this or knows anything about what it may be more specifically
I had that thought too because of the colors but the tube is so much shorter and the crown is much more uniformly spread...not gonna rule it out yet though
Ohhh cool! Personally I love when a coral or in this case coco worm comes attached to a piece of rock...I'm not sure if coco worms usually come with a piece of rock but it got me thinking about this dendro (definitely an NPS as I saw it in person last weekend) I might get that comes with the rock fragment attached instead of a frag plug. I know you can always take a coral off the plug but especially in the case of a dendro (which grows so slowly) it looks more natural with the rock fragment it originally grew on imoCoco worms have hard tunes. Regular ones have soft tunes.

They're relatively hard to find in most places as well which makes it cool to have one...maybe not the flashiest but a little rare and definitely uniqueI like dendros over sun corals.
Polyps are larger. More fleshy. U can see the white dots on the tips ect.
Kool corals.
