Thanks! It's pretty basic. I designed it with the plan of moving everything over to my 150 once it's set up.
I have the same plan, but smaller. I am looking to be able to rase, lower, front to back and side to side movement. I also put in a tilt up concept also to move the light up and out of the way.

I figured out how I am going to mount the light using the 90 degree brackets.

I had Framing Tech design this for me. It's on the way this week. I'm using the tool hangers on their site to hang the light rack with the Aquatic Life hanging kit. This will allow me to move them forward and backwards as well as up and down. I'm using tbolts to attach the hanging kit to the wall brackets.

This looks like what holds my Mitras, except I have to hang them perpendicular with the tank. I dont have the side to side piece. Nice!

I used a linear actuator also with the remote to lift the top. Makes getting into the tank pretty easy.
Variable sizes depending on the lift you want. Can’t remember what I have at the moment

My 80/20 came in yesterday. It took me a few minutes to figure out what goes were but this is a start. Now to make the boards to mount the upright against the wall. I was going back and forth to what to use, I decided to mill out some figured maple and leave the wood light with a clear finish. More to come.

Light rig is together and hung. I really like the simplicity of this design. What is really cool is I can also angle the light if needed. I decided to keep one of the Hydra 26 hd's for the middle to cover the gap.

Here is the maple I found in a stack of wood on hand

Here is the rig hung. The 80/20 is really nice and sturdy

I'm looking to build a light rack like this. I've got two 20" halide pendants and will have OR3 bars on the outsides, similar to what you've built here. Do you have some closeup pictures of how you attached the pendants and LED bars to the 8020 frame? Looking to put together a list of parts that I need to buy to build something similar.

Local store had used AI Hydra26 for $100 - but no arm.
For ~$25 made my own from 2020. Printed my own brackets.
