HEY REEF2REEFERS…..BEEN SNORKELING???

I have only snorkeled. Want to scuba badly. I have snorkeled in Bahamas, Belize and Honduras. I saw parrot fish, barracuda, nurae sharks etc. I am hooked.

Hello. I live in Palm Beach County Florida and have dove up here a lot.
Mostly I dove off of Boynton Beach but a couple of times up in West Palm. Now I usually dive in Boca right outside of the inlet and down in Pompano, south of the pier.
For snorkeling the best place up here is probably Blue Heron Bridge.

This is me on my honeymoon in the Maldives! We saw so much. Amazing reefs, sharks, stingrays, manta rays, HUGE batfish, triggers, puffers, eels. I could go on!

Every day I dream of going back. It was the holiday that ruined every future holiday for me!

Been a few years now, but the Mrs and I went snorkeling and scuba diving in the Maldives... such a beautiful and diverse ecosystem. Highly recommended if you ever get the opportunity - this is what inspired us to create my own little piece of the ocean in our home

I snorkel La Jolla cove a few times each year. The current is pretty brutal sometimes and a few years ago, I rescued a panicking lone scuba diver from Baltimore who was caught about a quarter mile from shore and was totally exhausted from trying to kick his way back in. I had him follow me as we basically went hand-over-hand over rocky sections until we reached the shore.
