Hello,
I'm setting up a new cube reef tank that measures 20x20x20 and needed help with some lighting options. Any recommendations? I have one ai 16hd prime already and I am worried that the corals won't get enough light because the arm for the light is 12inches from the light to the top of the tank? Should I buy another ai 16prime or just one ai 32 led light or something else?

Here are some good options for you.
1) 16” Reefbreeders photon v2+ It’s a great light, can grow corals very well with good color and won’t break your budget.

2) Single ecotech XR15. It would be perfect for this size tank. Find a used one and save some cash.

3) Kessil A360x. Good light but will cause shadowing in SPS if you use a single light. Personally, I’d go with the Reefbreeders or XR15.

I can’t speak to any other lights as I haven’t owned any. I hope you get something good!

Thanks for your help I will take your advice and keep an eye out for a used xr15. I hear a lot of good things about them.

I just purchased 2 used ones. I can’t wait to get them on my tank. They are HARD to find used. They go FAST. If you see one for sale, better jump on it because it won’t be there tomorrow.
