Lady reefer here. In my local club, there are several women, although it's still male dominated. I notice my female reefer friends show/talk about their fish and corals first, while the guys start out by showing off the equipment, then get around to the livestock. There are some exceptions, but that's the general trend, and I fit the mold. I'm all about them fishies!

The equipment bores me, just tell me what will keep my fish and corals thriving. I don't mind maintaining the equipment, but I'm not going to play engineer. LOL
