This is the blue bucket not coral proThe black bucket has very high alkalinity.
Sorry, that’s what i meant - maybe the wrong salt mix got packaged at the factory? This is the blue bucket not coral pro
WeirdYou can go on Red Sea's web site and check your batch with the serial number on the bucket.
meg/l there is a conversion table somewhere.Weird
Good advice here ^^^^^^Did you dry mix the salt? Don't pay any attention to the BRS infomercial, you still need to do it if you mix small batches... larger batches tend to level out more.
I actually just did that and I’m making a batch right now lol let’s see what it says. Thanks guys.Good advice here ^^^^^^
Was just about to say....dont forget to roll the bucket or dump the bag back out into the bucket to make it homogeneous again.
Shipping settles these buckets out a lot.
What are you using to measure salinity and how much are you mixing? 5 gal atleast?Dry mixed the whole bucket like a mad man. Still showing high alk. 11.3. I’m thinking this was packaged wrong and this is coral pro in the bucket and not regular Red Sea salt.
Fresh calibrated Hanna checker and Refractometer I calibrated with the calibration fluid. Yes I mixed 5 gallons. What are you using to measure salinity and how much are you mixing? 5 gal atleast?
