You tell me.

Entry #1. Stealing sand from the beach. When I got it home, it was complete with cigarette butts and all! - I rinsed it a little, and it went right in...

Entry # 2. I bought warehouse type 400 watt metal halide kits at $70 each, then bought Hamilton bulbs, and fired them up. They worked great!

Entry # 3. I made the reflectors for said metal halides from the metal I salvaged from the door of a trashed stainless steel refrigerator, and guess what...it worked great too!

All of this was on a 155 Bow-front I used to have.

Black sharpie hides anything on a 2nd hand Biocube stand. Our first cord management was duct tape.

Also, you asked for a hillbilly thing....
Many years ago I owned a 29G Bow Tank.
At the rim of the tank where the plastic goes all the way around it and in the middle of it.
Well I did like the middle plastic part.
What could the middle plastic part that’s connected to the front and back of the tank even have a purpose of?.... I was an idiot then....

I cut that off, with the tank full, and it really bowed out then... I had to tear the tank down and give it away for free....

now I own a Red Sea Reefer 425XL, that will never happen again!
