I have had a hippo blue tang with white patches over her, doesn’t look like ich. Could it be stress marks? Sorry this the best picture I could get of her because she is super shy and she dashed away to hide if she sees any movement.

I'd guess it could be stress. Is this a new fish in QT? From an online retailer?

It looks quite young which would seem to contribute to it being subject to more extreme sensitivity to its surroundings. Is it eating OK and otherwise acting OK?

No I got this hippo tang from a store that is 3 and a half hours away from me. He is 1.5 inches and does eat like a pig.
