Why are Brazilian seahorses mostly brought in from the wild? Anyone know any captive bred sources? I want a red reidi so bad!

Why are Brazilian seahorses mostly brought in from the wild? Anyone know any captive breed sources? I want a red reidi so bad!

ORA breeds an orange reidi I’ve gotten shipments of that are always healthy with good color and they feed on Hikari mysis right away. I don’t know of a breeder that has reds though. I’ve known a couple breeders and their breeding pairs seemed to have a lot of ups and downs. An erectus from one gave birth right in front of me and it was pretty awesome. I collected the babies and returned the pair to him.
