Hitchhiker on my snail!

Hi!
I picked up a clean up crew from my LFS and I noticed one of the snails came with this thing riding on its shell. Is this anything I should be worried about? Kind of looks like a little anemone.

Any chance of getting a head on shot? Looks like a nem, but it could also be some kind of coral.

Idk I’ve never seen it get that big before. I’d let it grow out lol

It looks like like a coldwater anemone to me, definitely not aiptasia!
Lucky find, I had one of thos a while back.

No need to treat the tank or the snail, just squirt some Joe's juice on the mouth of the anemone and it will die.

To be sure of what? There is no treatment for aiptasia. You have to kill them individually. Seems like a waste to kill that little guy.

I hope it’s not aiptasia. I have a forest of them and wish I had id’d it sooner. I was fascinated by every living organism on my rock!
