Hi!
I picked up a clean up crew from my LFS and I noticed one of the snails came with this thing riding on its shell. Is this anything I should be worried about? Kind of looks like a little anemone.
thanks for the help!

Any chance of getting a head on shot? Looks like a nem, but it could also be some kind of coral.

Thanks! Happy to be a part of the community
Sorry for the late replies. I was able to get some headshots. Does Nem mean anemone?

Great looks like I may have lucked out! Would there be harm in trying to treat the tank (or just the snail) for aiptasia just to be sure?

To be sure of what? There is no treatment for aiptasia. You have to kill them individually. Seems like a waste to kill that little guy.

I hope it’s not aiptasia. I have a forest of them and wish I had id’d it sooner. I was fascinated by every living organism on my rock!
