You'll notice hobby club Dallas/Fort Worth Marine Aquarium Society now has dedicated area of Reef2Reef:

As people join, you'll notice they get a spiffy "DFWMAS Member" banner under their name.
Like anything that is new, we are kicking the tires. Daniel mentioned there are some glitches to be worked out.
List of Glitches aka R2R Fix Wishlist:
- If you have a BUILD THREAD CONTRIBUTOR badge, it will disappear when you join this DFWMAS hobby club or any other new user group
- due to a current R2R software glitch, so we may have this a while
- like every other R2R user group
- let's give R2R grace, they let us know up front everyone has this
- In order to get BUILD THREAD badge back, you will simply need to add your build thread link again in your profile settings
- Super easy to do! CLICK HERE
- due to a current R2R software glitch, so we may have this a while
- request reason for R2R join user group DFWMAS are missing for moderator
- if you are among the first requesting JOIN
- expect moderator is going to let you in anyhow
- moderator has a delay before your request shows up
- will try to act on these daily if not more frequent, but first it has to show up in queue for approval to be given
