Time to make a new zoa garden! Groot's zoa tower is getting crowded so need to make some mini villages of zoas.

How about an updated 3 angle view of my Red Sea Peninsula 650?! As you can see, I've been busy fragging and placing them all on the sand bed for grow out. Already running out of space. Love my mixed reef in box.

My Red Sea Peninsula 650 is about 16 months old. So much growth and progression in little over a year due to stability and Red Sea products used. From the tank, skimmer, carbon, media cup to dosing Reef Nutrition A & B and Trace Colors A|B|C|D. To say my tank doesn't have enough Red Sea products is an understatement. I'm by no means sponsored by Red Sea, but just wanted to share with you all the success I have with using their products.

Beautiful tank!
Tell me about your sand! What is it and what is your regiment like to keep it so clean?

I have the CaribSea Special Grade reef sand about 1 1/2 inch depth. I have several nassarius snails and gobies that helps stir the sand. Every time I do water change, i take my pipette and blow sand a little to bring out trapped detritus.

Tell me, how does it feel to be rich? Asking for a friend lol.

LOL! Lets just say it took me almost 10 months to put water in the tank. Sell nano tank, other items and save, save, save until I can buy one piece of equipment each month. Then after almost 10 months, I was able to put water in it! LOL! As for livestock, some are from my nano tanks brought over and others are mostly local reefers. You be surprise how much you save buying and trading with local reefers as well as LFS.

My favorite view has always been from top down. Here's a top down video of my Mixed Reef In A Box! I hope you enjoy my Euphyllia Village, Torch City, Candy Cane Land, Zoa Heaven & SPS Island!

Just about 17 months ago when my Red Sea Peninsula 650 began its journey. A mixture of all my leftover rocks from my nano tanks and some dry rocks. All consist of fiji, pukani, haitian, tonga, caribsea and marco's dry rocks. All of them bonded together using Marco's cement. Here is a sample of one of which I call, "Groot's Zoa Tower."

Plus the Marsh guys buy/sell/trade corals and equipment at very reasonable prices.

Working on a new YouTube video called, "How To Create & Maintain A Zoa Garden!" This will be a two part series as there is too much to cover in just one episode. Stay tuned...

Coming this Friday to a YouTube near you! Part one of how to grow and maintain a zoa garden. I hope you will enjoy the video as much as I had fun making this two part series. Oh yeah, turn the sound on for the fun of it.

Blown away with this build. Great job on the vinyl work, looks so sick. Also really like the scape, it has grown in nicely. Looking forward to see this tank age!

Thank you for all the likes! Thank you for the kind words and follow as well. Agree, as time as and tank continue to mature, I can't imagine the possibilities of how this tank will turn out. In the meantime, I'm just enjoying the moment, the process and let it all soak in. Happy reefing!
