Thanks, I love groot! The Aquatic Life T5 Hybrid is hanging about 11 inches from the surface of the tank. The Ecotech Radions G4 (AB+ template) comes on at 12 pm and off at 1 am. The T5s (2 actinics and 2 blue plus) comes on at 5 pm and off at 9 pm.

Thanks for the quick response I have the same light with 4x hydra 26 and 4xblue plus. I just upgraded from a 75 with 2x250watt MH and 4x t5 so I’m trying not to kill all my corals.

Today my reef in a box is officially 1 year old! Whoop! Whoop! It's been an amazing journey as I did everything myself from vinyl wrapping the cabinetry including the light fixture, spray painting, modification to the iKea cabinetry, cementing, plumbing and creating my own aquascape. It's been awesome to see coral growth from just tiny frags! I hope you enjoy the picture collage of the Red Sea Peninsula 650. Holla!

I love this fusion vent lid from Top Lids! I highly recommend them. They can make custom lid for any size tank. I appreciate how they always make sure things are measured and design to your liking before it gets made. Give you a mock up to review as well. So awesome! Great investment to keep your fish from jumping out of the tank, but it also looks great too. So thin and blends in well with my rimless Red Sea Peninsula 650 tank.

My Zoa/Goni tower is getting full, so I decided to do a DIY zoa frag holder that kind of looks like a mushroom. Materials includes 1/2" red pvc, circle ceramic plate, ceramic dome frag holder and marco cement. Plan is to have the base and red pvc encrusted with some type of coral and the top with nicer zoas. What coral you think I should cover it with? GSP? Cyphastrea? Jack of Lantern? What do you think of this look? Ideas and feedbacks welcome! Even if you don't like this look, let me know. I welcome the feedback. Holla!

Here are some top down shots of my SPS frags. This is the first time I ventured into SPS due to having nano tanks and I was too chicken to try them as these are less forgiving and requires stable parameters, good flow and lighting. Now that I have a bigger tank with my Red Sea Peninsula 650, I figure I give it a shot. To me SPS corals are like zoas, so many color variations you can go with.

Did an impromptu video of one of my favorite lfs here in Houston, Texas. FJW Aquarium just hit their 11 years anniversary and asked if I can do a video to give the local reefers a sneak peak of what to expect. There will be representatives from vendors such as Red Sea, Neptune Systems, Eshopps, Build An Obsession, Fritz, and Seachem! There will also be bbq, free samples, giveaway raffles every 30 minutes and even a Red Sea tank for the main prize. Video is extra long because everything is showcased! There's even an interview with the man himself, Dennis! Enjoy and holla!
