How it Started
I’ve had freshwater tanks for years. Being in the hobby of aquariums brings in like minded friends and individuals. One of my good friends facetimed me and showed me his tank and explained how saltwater yet challenging is rewarding. That very next day I went out and got started.

Why a 10 Gallon?
The reason my friend facetimed me was because I had actually just bought a 60g tank that was meant to be a freshwater tank. He convinced me to go Saltwater. However I know smaller tanks are difficult and I didn’t want to rush this hobby or rush any of this and if I was going to do a 60g reef tank I wanted it to be done right.
So I figured if I can conquer a 10 I can conquer anything.

Update:
I know my tank looks cleaner around week 3 had a massive diatom outbreak! Siphoned and clean up crew did wonders.
