How are my parameters looking? Curious as to what anyone else is doing on a mixed reef, sps dominant.

Title says it all, I have been dosing calcium to get that up a little but didn't test it today, I have my reactor running at 7.0ph as of right now with a constant drip of effluent that is at 11.7dkh alkalinity. Any input would be appreciated I know alkalinity is high It was at 20.0+ about a week ago... But the coral seem unaffected so far....

I was contemplating going to 1.025sg to see if that would bring alkalinity down a bit... Also I'm not worried about magnesium because it's under 1500ppm by a good bit. Thank you I'm trying to bring the temperature down and ph has been running high the past few weeks.

I agree a bit high, if you are not having issues and seeing good growth don’t rush into changes.

A good balance would be Alk at 9.6 to calc at around 430. Mag I never worry about unless above 1500. I do keep my SG around 1.024 to give my fish a bit more O2

I'd be surprised if the pH is really that high with your situation. The value is fine, but is not normally attained unless one is using high pH alk additives.

Make sure nitrate does not decline. At 10.6 dKH, <1 ppm nitrate is asking for burnt tips, and may risk dinos. I'd feed more or dose nitrate. I'd aim for 2-10 ppm.

I did recalibrate the ph probe and it was at 8.4ph this am. I did turn my calcrx back on tho at 7.1ph I'll probably just try to get to 9.5dkh by say Friday of next week and I'll try to tune my bubble count until then. I lose about 1.2dkh per day possibly more depending on time of day I check. My effluent from reactor was reading 11.8 which was exactly 1.2 above my 10.6dkh test last night. I also did notice tips starting to turn white on some sps, I fed brine shrimp last night, I am concerned with feeding too much due to po4 being 0.10... I will keep feeding brine in the meantime, I believe that has a higher nitrate and less po4 than mysis... I have considered straining the brine to keep po4 down. Any tips here? Thanks so much.

I got salinity to 1.025 to see if anything changes... So far only see some tips going white on the birdsnest corals.

Still suspect the pH is incorrect, but it is not worth worrying about as the value is fine.

I wouldn't worry about a phosphate rise, I would worry about a bottomed out nitrate.

I'm not a fan of rinsing previously frozen foods as I worry that potassium is lost.

Hearing that makes me feel alot less stressed out. Appreciate the help Mr. Farley. I'll add food 2 times a day until I get a 5ppm nitrate reading. I'll try to keep it there because I don't like algae lol.
