Ok so apparently these checkers are like potato chips. You can’t just have one. When I got my last two this week I realized they consume a lot of storage space. They come in a really cool storage cases (of if you buy used in a plastic bin) but this really doesn’t work out when you have multiple checkers. In addition to the storage getting them out and ready for testing gets complicated fast when you are testing multiple parameters.

I was thinking of designing and printing a multi checker storage case or something. (Perhaps to fit a small tool box?)

Before I do I know I can’t be the only one struggling with this. So how are you storing your checkers?

I wanted to go that route but found that in my limited space for testing it just didn’t work out.

I’m kinda making a bundle the way Red Sea does but for my Hanna checkers.

This is what I have so far. I still have to work on something for storing the cuvettes so they don’t scratch. Still not sure if I can mix them between testers either.

I built a cabinet for storing my controller and testing equipment, and doubles as a stand for my gecko vivarium.

Got a little ottoman that sits next to the tank that has a flip top and storage underneath. I can sit on it and check the tank out and all my testing is safe inside. I can’t keep in the garage because it’s too cold in the winter and too hot in the summer out there. Gotta love the mountains in the South.

Mine sit in their boxes on the dining room table which is about 4‘ from the tank. When I have company I put them in the fish closet with my fragging supplies and other stuff

Mine are all stacked one on top of each other in a cabinet.
Most of the time I remove the batteries from them after using the kit.
I have had too many batteries leak and destroy the contacts. I will never use Duracell AA's or Amazon Basic Batteries again.
