Reminds me of my first time making salt water. The instructions are there, but a little obtuse.

How did you mix it?

Just shake it up by hand? I put a power head in a 5 gallon bucket and mix Red Sea for 2 hours at the temperature Red Sea specifies. I don't see such exacting instructions here.

The font on the instructions is so bad I literally can't tell what it's trying to say.

11/.026 gallons? What?

BRS web site says:
6 level measuring spoons of Carbocalcium Powder are dissolved in 1 liter (0.26 gallons) reverse osmosis water to create the liquid mineral solution

Ok, I guess that's fairly clear. So essentially 24 level spoons per gallon... or 3 spoons per .5 liter, which is what I will start with (I have a 38 gallon system).

This is the formula for All for Reef;
140g CarboCalcium powder
12g Bio-Magnesium
Mix into;
800 ml RODI
Add 100ml A-
Add 100ml K+
For just the CarboCalcium portion it is 140g/liter. I don't use "spoons" because they are subjective. In practice they are probably close enough as long as it is done consistently. I would be more precise if mixing All for Reef since it has trace involved.

As for “how”, I just use a kitchen scale to weigh out the powder and add it to a 1L bottle of RODI and then shake till it’s dissolved. Only takes a couple minutes.

I got it figured out thanks. I am not sure what instructions those are @GlassMunky, but mine don't look like that. The font makes the math/numbers unintelligable on the label I have. I used BRS's instructions.
