I had to drain my tank last weekend to get a fish out. I drained it into an old DT I had in my basement. The tank was too narrow for a 5g bucket so I used my ato to pump the water back into my tank, which went great until the alarm tripped alerting me the ATO pumped a lot of water. With my previous ATO, the solution was simply unplugging it for a minute or so, and then it would reset when I plug it back in. With the Tunze this did not work. Does anyone know how to reset this? Do I just turn off the high water level alarm and then turn it back on?

It automatically shuts off after 10 mins. on continuously.
Unplugging should reset it. I know mine does.
Make sure the high level float isn't stuck in the off position.

I've never had mine flash all lights and alarm at once.
Do you have the manual?
If not I'm sure you can get it online.
