How do you clean the corners of your tank without destroying the silicone?

Question in the title!

How do you get the algae that seems to be so stubborn that rest right in the corners without annihilating the silicone? I’ve bashed it so many times with my magnet scraper ands receded somewhat and now I’m just terrified of getting in there but I really want those corners looking beautiful. Same with the bottoms where the sand is thin, or for those with no substrate at all

If it is just light algae you can use something like a magic eraser, but if it is a hard substance then you may have to get in there with a razor and do it manually. You don't want to ram a scraper in there so you will have to get your arms a bit wet.

Hotel key card for me doesn’t cut through like razor blade but slightly more work I’m also lazy so magic erasers work but not if you don’t do it frequently enough.

I honestly don't worry about a little nuild up here and there in the corners. To me it just gives the tank character. Kind of like a new bronze garage door that gets that rusty patina look to it that adds character.

Same, I don't touch the silicone. Mines black silicone so doesn't get a nasty looking but still I just leave it alone.

Magic erasers are reef safe? Thought there would be some undesirable chemical in those….
