How do you mount the OR 90 to an existing Atlantik V4 panel?

Not sure if this will help, the first pic in post #12 shows how it can be attached. Im just not sure where that crossbar on the shortend of the main fixture comes from.

I'm interested in the same thing. I have the orphek mounts, it would be nice if there was a way to mount them to that.

Not sure if it would work for an OR bar but heres how I added a Reef Brite to my hanging V4’s. Used this stuff. 3M fasteners. More like a marine velcro.

No concerns of it separating? Do you some sort of backup in case it becomes separated?

using the Reef Brite I have no reservations that it will hold. I use this stuff for almost everything and it holds a fair ammount of weight very solidly.

I do not know how heavy the OR bars might be in comparison to the Reef Brite but I did consider using small screws into the aluminum housing. The few screws I had handy didn't want to cooperate so I tried the 3M stuff and worked out great. Didn't do any damage to the Orphek fixture.

I haven't come across any other ways without adding some sort of frame.

Just spoke w/ James the sales rep for orphek. Apparently they have extension bars for the tank mount that will allow the connection of OR bars to the v4 fixture. It's $15 add on if u buy a mount, $45 if u buy separately (due to shipping).
