How Do You Water Change A QT With Copper In It?

Hello, when I do a water change on a qt that is currently being treated with copper to eradicate velvet, do I add the same amount of copper the qt tank has to the mixed RODI salt water before I refill the tank?

You have to add the correct amount of copper to the new water before adding it to the tank. You do not redose the amount for the full tank volume or add any more to the qt tank.

I always use the Water from my Display Tank as the replacement water for my hospital tank. Put it in a marked bucket, Copper Dose the water, and Slow Syphon the water into the Hospital Tank. Cuts down on my waste water, and seems to be easier on my Quarantined Fish.
