How does a fish end up in my fuge

I thought my mccoster's flasher wrasse had died yesterday and I just could not find him. I was just cleaning my skimmer when I noticed my fish in the fuge. I have a red sea reefer 250 with an upgraded ruby 36 trigger sump. TIA Rich

It jumped into your overflow and went into the pipes.
Happened with my wrasse, unfortunately mine didn't make it as it got stuck in the valve part.
another recently died with a lid I made for the overflow..

I'd find a way to block the fish from jumping into the overflow.

thanks. I will put left over netting some how from my screen top on there. Sorry to hear about your wrasse and I was totally psyched I found mine alive.

My P. attenuatus disappeared for several weeks and I was bummed out thinking I had lost an expensive fish. One day I was changing my filter socks and there he was swimming around in my sump. That had to have been a wild ride from the overflow, down the full siphon, in to the filter sock, then jump out of it into the the skimmer chamber!
