As soon as the water is mixed which would not be long.

What is you alk at? I thing 20 dKH is the max of the hanna reader.

What salt are you using? Was the Alk reading supposed to be 16.1? Or is it 161 ppm? If the reading is in ppm your alk is ok at 9 dkh.
With that large of a water change I'd expect parameters to change rapidly, depending on the difference in alk (also applies to mag & ca) with the newly mixed water compared to the tank. Ex. Tank at 9 dkh, new saltwater at 9, change will not be noticeable. Vs Tank at 7 dkh & new water at 10 dkh
I also should ask if you're dosing anything?

Depends on what salt you’re using.

We're all assuming that alk number is ppm, if so, as Randy said 9dKH is perfectly fine.

tropic marin reef pro salt should mix at 8.5 dKH.

7-8 dkh is what it mixes up to. I use alot of the pro reef salt and never seen it hit 8.5

7.2-7.5 and this last 200G mix is at 8
